Commissioned by the Embassy of Luxembourg in Athens for its conference room, this exclusive collection of three sculptural amphorae celebrates cultural identity through contemporary craftsmanship. Each piece reinterprets the amphora through a distinctive silhouette, crowned with an expressive, hand-sculpted finial. Luxembourg’s national colours — red, white and blue — intertwine with warm, earthy tones in intricate geometric compositions, brought to life through hand-carved reliefs and vibrant glazes.

 

Rooted in Lea Schroeder’s belief that art can build bridges between cultures, this commission embodies a dialogue between heritage and modernity, honouring craftsmanship, celebrating identity and bringing a touch of soulful storytelling into a space dedicated to international exchange.
