Selected through an anonymous competition, Lea Schroeder Studio was commissioned by POST Philatélie to design the first official portrait stamp of Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, issued on 3 October 2025 to mark the accession to the throne.

The project included the postage stamp, a special souvenir sheet featuring nine stamps, and a commemorative envelope. Beyond the Grand Ducal portrait, the illustrated composition celebrates the family's heritage, its role in Luxembourg's national identity and international representation, while symbolising an opening towards the future.

Combining contemporary illustration, symbolism, and historical storytelling, the project transforms a national milestone into a collectible piece of cultural heritage.

The creation was also featured in a special RTL television report, including an interview with Lea Schroeder about the artistic concept and creative process.
